E-Commerce Product Content Specialist

Surya is looking for an E-Commerce Product Content Specialist to join our team. This position is responsible for supporting our ecommerce business by efficiently presenting our expansive product lines to our customers in the most efficient and compliant method possible. This means ensuring all product content is complete and optimized for transacting by collecting, organizing and providing feedback on key product attributes, images, and other digital assets. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of urgency and understanding of managing data compliance requirements with multiple channel partners. We are looking for a team player that thrives in a fast pace environment, owns their business function, and enjoys a challenge.

Requirements:

  • Ability to learn quickly and flexibility to adapt to changing processes and responsibilities
  • Ability to manage multiple, detailed tasks with urgency and accuracy to meet tight deadlines
  • Elevated competency in working as an individual contributor and as a team player
  • Strong professional communication skills
  • Experience in Microsoft Office
  • High Fluency in Excel including knowledge of advanced formulas and techniques
  • Resizing, reformatting, and renaming image files
  • High aptitude for learning new software and understanding new technologies
  • Managing product data and information at the SKU and category levels
  • Translate business requirements into the appropriate product data structure, and work with the E-Commerce Sales Manager and Syndication Supervisor on projects to streamline and improve the product content management process
  • Leveraging data mining techniques and resources to maximize productivity when populating catalog content
  • Ability to work with several different functions, across multiple levels in the organization
  • Collaborate with business resources to acquire, store & manage product attributes, content, and media links with a focus on accuracy and completeness
  • Process documentation and contributing to the departments Playbook

Preferred qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Information Management or Marketing
  • 2 - 3 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
  • Experience extracting, cleaning, and manipulating data to
  • Customer service experience over email and phone
  • Business process mapping
  • SQL Server Management Studio
  • Prior experience with PIM technologies
  • Copywriting
