Digital Marketing & Campaign Automation Specialist

Surya is looking for a results-driven marketing automation power-user. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, you will ensure we are leveraging automation-related best practices, and execute best-in-class marketing automation campaigns that most effectively optimize audience segmentation, email timing, and messaging/creative throughout the digital channel to grow reach and impact. You will partner with teams across marketing, PD, sales and merchandising functions to design, build, QC, execute, and analyze automated programs, developing strategies that improve campaign results and KPI's. You must be willing to roll up your sleeves and dig in. We are looking for an innovative thinker who has a knack for data-driven insight who is willing to bring new ideas and subject matter expertise to the table to help a high-growth company maximize marketing ROI.


  • Manage Pardot marketing automation platform to optimize segmentation, campaign execution, lead scoring, nurturing and funnel pull-through
  • Execute brand, product & event campaigns from setup to testing, launch, post-deployment analysis, and optimization 
  • Using tools like Salesforce CRM, Google Analytics and internal data, identify high-value customer segments and target them based on history and personalized data 
  • Create strategy for, prioritize, and execute high-impact A/B tests to improve shopper conversion rate and brand engagement. 
  • Test and assure quality of all digital campaigns with team members prior to campaign launch. 
  • Monitor the mar-tech field and implement pro-active changes to our department as new technology, policies, and trends develop. 
  • Proactively identify and trouble-shoot multiple issues in complex programs. Identify and resolve deliverability issues in real time
  • Analyze campaign effectiveness and monitor key metrics and KPIs. 
  • Manage and execute Web site content, SEO & CRO 
  • Manage and execute the email program 
  • Manage and execute any 3rd party digital creative outputs for advertising & sponsorships 


  • BA/BS preferably in marketing, computer science, or engineering 
  • Knowledge of best practices in managing and executing B2B marketing automation system and other marketing database and analytics tools; Pardot/Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience is required
  • Experience both creating and executing integrated digital campaigns, with a successful track record of measurable results
  • Proven experience building and implementing a testing and optimization strategy to improve email, landing pages, and website performance
  • Expertise in nurturing the quality of and maintaining response rates across multiple segments and contact lists through deliberate data capture and contact management strategies. 
  • Database experience (pulling data, cross referencing, importing, and maintaining subscriber attributes) 
  • Excellent reporting and analytics skills to drive strategy with a solid understanding of reporting tools
  • 3-5 years of experience in digital marketing or comparable technology suite 
  • Content Creation/Writing skills is a nice to have 
  • Responsive HTML/CSS design experiences nice to have 
  • Knowledge of email regulations including CAN-SPAM and CASL 
  • Strong attention to process and detail
  • Exceptional analytical, communication and writing skills
