Product Information Coordinator

Overview

The Product Information Coordinator reports to the Product Information Specialist and is responsible for assisting in all data collection and communication regarding new product introductions. This is a unique opportunity for the right individual who loves being surrounded by beautiful product but also has the analytical mindset necessary to compile, organize, and analyze data. 

Responsibilities

  • Create and organize the Product Information Sheet forms for samples and approved merchandise, making sure that vendors provide complete and accurate data and that PIS are properly stored after the corresponding product is approved
  • Maintain and manage the Product Information Sheet (PIS) forms for all product categories.
  • Organize and prepare sample images for reviews and graphics
  • Work with the marketing department to coordinate initial photography that correlates with physical samples waiting on review
  • Attend product review meetings and assign collection names, Surya design numbers, master design, pile, designer, style, details, and performance to product to appropriately track and manage data
  • Gather attributes and assign Surya design numbers, collection, designer, master design, pile, style, details, and performance for any product that falls outside of the PD review process
  • Communicate across departments when samples are rejected or products are removed from the line
  • Execute data accuracy and completeness checks for all product categories for catalog
  • Attend Markets/be accessible to answer any product data related questions (Jan, Apr, July, Oct)
  • Maintain new product status

Requirements

  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Office with advanced proficiency in Excel and the ability to confidently create and use formulas
  • At least 3 years of experience in data management
  • Strong math skills
  • Strong communication skills – written and verbal
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Highly flexible and adaptable to working in an ambiguous environment
  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment which is not temperature regulated, as well as in an office setting when required
  • Sharp attention to detail with ability to multi-task and balance a number of key deadlines and tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to work on-site at our corporate office located just north of Cartersville
