Associate Sales Manager
The Associate Sales Manager’s primary responsibility is to partner with and ensure the long-term success of sales specialists while achieving maximum sales profitability, growth and account penetration.
Assist in evaluating the sales team in an ongoing basis and improve overall effectiveness
Establish an ongoing training program for the sales team
Evaluate sales teams ongoing usage of CRM
Ensure all A accounts have a Sales Strategy plan, documented in CRM at all times.
Ensure all A, B, and C level accounts are serviced to the level established in Service Plan quarterly/annually.
Ensure all accounts have updated information in CRM including; Profiles, Account Strategy, Sales and Service Checklists, Training Checklists, are other notes pertinent to account continuously.
Assign new accounts opened by Coordinators to sales specialists or account managers to get the best results for the account within a week of being transferred to Sales Manager.
Learn all aspects of CRM including; how to efficiently evaluate salesperson, and show a salesperson how to use information in CRM to strategically map account growth.
Establish market goals per Sales Specialist and Account Manager and evaluate market performance each market
Know if Top 25 accounts are attending market, and set appointment and strategy every market.
Attend key Markets to connect with customers, prospects, and work with Sales Specialists and to achieve Market goals.
Initiate interviews for open positions though networking, use of “Jazz” and coordination with corporate recruiter.
Act as the point of contact for all customers in an open territory
Provide feedback to the sales manager regarding performance of the sales specialists
Actively involved in recruiting and training of new sales specialists
