HighJump Developer

The HighJump Developer works with business system analysts and business stakeholders to enhance, maintain, and support the warehouse management system. This includes creating technical designs, programming, debugging, unit testing, and documenting application changes.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Plan programs by studying specifications; arrange specifications by developing logical sequence, preparing flowcharts, and researching solutions.
  • Code specifications by converting logical sequence and workflow into program language.
  • Verify coding by performing unit testing and trial runs.
  • Prepare program documentation.
  • Advance job knowledge to the next level by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, and learning from mentors and peers.
  • Follow company standards.
  • Demonstrate the Company’s Core and Growth Values in the performance of all job functions.
  • Complete other assignments and special projects as requested.

 

Skill requirements:

  • 3-5 years experience with Highjump or similar Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), including experience with SQL and Webwise
  • Willingness to learn Highjump WMS if no experience with Highjump
  • Strong skills in MS-SQL
  • IT consulting experience strongly preferred
  • WMS consulting experience preferred.
  • Experience with ecommerce, MS .NET framework and SSIS a plus.
  • Agile SDLC experience is a plus.
  • Integration with Sage 100 experience is a plus.
  • Experience in Crystal Reports is a plus.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Documentation of applications
  • Effective time management and organizational skills
  • Work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
  • Working knowledge of Continuous Improvement
  • Handle multiple projects simultaneously within established time constraints
  • Proficient computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Development Suite
