Account Manager-Contract (Hospitality)

POSITION OVERVIEW

As our hospitality/contract division continues to expand, we are looking for a competitive, high energy  Account Manager to sell our products to a growing customer base. Working from our brand new corporate office, you will be tasked with growing our hospitality and contract business, to identify sales opportunities and maximize sales in an assigned multi-state territory.  Some travel to key accounts will be required.  If you are ready to turn your sales talents into a long-term career, and if you’ve got a couple years of experience under your belt, we want to talk with you.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Sell all Surya product including rugs, pillows, throws, accent furniture, lighting, and art
  • Serve as the customer's point of contact, working closely with the customer to gain insights into business pains and opportunities
  • Regularly contact customers via phone/email with onsite visits, as needed
  • Ensure designers have the proper collateral to maximize their Surya sales
  • Develop new business through referrals, networking, and cold calling
  • Maintain customer and sales activity data in Salesforce.com
  • Attend trade shows to connect with new and existing customers and prospects
  • Resolve customer issues and manage/escalate concerns as appropriate

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • 2+ years of field sales, inside sales and/or account management experience
  • Passionate about the hospitality industry.
  • Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent relationship-building, communication and presentation skills
  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
  • Resilience and an ability to overcome objections
  • Proficient in MS Office suite; experience with Salesforce.com a plus
  • Must be able to attend/work at designated key industry trade shows
  • Ability and willingness to travel, as needed
  • Ability to work on-site in our corporate office in Cartersville, GA. We offer  vanpool with stops in Atlanta and Buckhead.
